This is a random hodgepodge of images from way back in February when I went to Field Trip in California. It's mostly random because I was working the Pic-Time booth and also I was too nervous to ask too many people to model for me. Haha, but as you can see, I had no problem with the kids that were around. I'm pretty far removed from the experience now and the "camp high" has gone away, but man, I am still so blown away by the experience. I brushed against so many beautiful, talented, and kindhearted humans, and there's something really beautiful about the thought that I might never see or hear from any of them again; they now only exist in my mind forever like the moment I saw them. These are my moments suspended:
For most of the month of March, I've been hanging out with a very special group of kids. Into The Woods is a Montessori nature school here in Portland that focuses on allowing children to explore nature. A well placed instagram ad actually led me to this school, and I'm so happy to know that there are places like Into the Woods that really understand how important it is to allow kids to be a part of nature and learn about this land that we walk on. These kids are really something else, and I'm so glad they let me tag along with them and taught me something new about the world. Below are just a few of my favorite photos from the month, as well as a film from our explorations.
