te ngahere

Every other day I walk passed this forested area (to my ballroom dancing class) and I've wanted to do a shoot for the longest time. I recently purchased a new lens so I've been itching to really practice with it, so when spring break rolled around, I met up with Abby and we made these images! Abby and I actually were instagram friends first, but we also happen to go to the same school, and this was our first time officially meeting in person. Abby can you just be my muse please? Because I am absolutely in love with all of these photos.

I am excited to hone in my style of photography, and I think this set of photos is a very good example of where I want to go. Creative, simple concepts, with a mix of fashion and beauty. So if any musicians/models want to collaborate, let me know!

In other news, I'm gearing up for my first wedding season, so likewise, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, I am officially available for the greater Portland area (and further away). Be sure to check out my new wedding section to view some samples of my work.

(And check out all of my sections too. I recently updated the website, just to give it a new look, and I've also added photos that I haven't released yet to the rest of the internet--including this blog--so be sure to check out all the goodies.)

I'm incredibly excited for this summer of weddings, and also for my New Zealand/Fiji trip that will occur in officially 35 days from now. Planning just one photo shoot for our free day, and then the majority of my suitcase will be filled with dresses and fabric that I'm going to randomly make my fellow classmates pose in. Sorry guys, I can't help it.

So yes, many exciting things are on the horizon for me, and I'm so thankful for all of these opportunities.
