Because I haven't made enough personal pieces this summer. Just like the old days, I got in the car without any idea of what I wanted to do, and drove aimlessly around the Oregon countryside. I found this perfect corn field that wasn't blocked off where I could also easily park the car, where it was nice and secluded. I wanted to experiment a bit with the harsh sunglight, as well as just get back into the swing of doing self portraiture. Even though it was hot outside, it felt amazing to be doing this again.
